Cílem této diplomové práce je popsat, jak se reprezentace genderových stereotypů spojených s ženskou rolí v pořadu Výměna manželek liší napříč vybranými sociálně strukturálními charakteristikami zúčastněných domácností, konkrétně socioekonomickým statusem, věkovou kategorií, typem sídla a příslušností k menšině. Výzkum je založen na kvantitativní obsahové analýze vybraných epizod, přičemž sledována byla četnost a stopáž jednotlivých stereotypních činností. Výsledky ukazují, že pořad převážně zobrazuje ženy v tradičních rolích spojených s péčí a zajišťováním každodenního chodu domácnosti. Nejčastěji se vyskytují činnosti jako je příprava jídla, péče o děti a úklid, zatímco jiné formy stereotypizace, například sexualizace či objektivizace, se objevují pouze okrajově. Rozdíly v intenzitě výskytu stereotypizujících projevů se výrazněji objevují mezi kategoriemi socioekonomického statusu, přičemž vyšší hodnoty byly zaznamenány u domácností nižší střední a nižší třídy. Naopak u věkové kategorie a typu sídla nebyly zaznamenány výrazné ani systematické rozdíly. Analýza kombinací charakteristik neodhalila jeden dominantní vzorec jejich kumulace, což poukazuje na různorodost sociálních pozic ve vzorku. The aim of this master's thesis is to describe how the representation of gender stereotypes associated with the female role in the television programme Wife Swap varies across selected socio-structural characteristics of participating households, namely socio-economic status, age category, type of residence, and minority status. The research is based on a quantitative content analysis of selected episodes, focusing on the frequency and duration of individual stereotypical activities. The results show that the programme predominantly portrays women in traditional roles associated with care and the maintenance of everyday household functioning. The most frequently observed activities include food preparation, childcare, and housework, while other forms of stereotyping, such as sexualisation or objectification, occur only marginally. Differences in the intensity of stereotypical manifestations are more apparent across categories of socio-economic status, with higher values observed among lower middle-class and lower- class households. In contrast, no substantial or systematic differences are observed with respect to age category or type of residence.
