Tato diplomová práce se zabývá fenoménem tzv. "skleněných dětí", tedy sourozenců dětí se zdravotním postižením či jinou formou jinakosti, v prostředí českého systému sociální podpory. Cílem práce je porozumět tomu, jak jsou v českém kontextu, charakteristickém omezenou nabídkou specializovaných služeb, uspokojovány potřeby těchto dětí a jakými způsoby dochází ke zmírňování obtíží plynoucích z jejich specifické rodinné situace. Teoretická část práce vymezuje koncept "skleněných dětí" a sumarizuje dopady soužití s dítětem s jinakostí na psychický vývoj a sociální roli jejich sourozenců bez jinakosti, zejména s ohledem na jevy jako parentifikace, sebecenzura a pocit neviditelnosti. Empirická část vychází z kvalitativního výzkumného šetření realizovaného formou hloubkových polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se sourozenci dětí s jinakostí. Výzkum odhalil zásadní rozpor mezi teoretickou existencí podpůrných programů a jejich reálnou dostupností. Zjištění potvrzují, že pro "skleněné děti" v Česku zůstávají specializované služby v období dospívání skryté, což je nutí spoléhat na individuální strategie a soukromou psychoterapii. This thesis examines the phenomenon of so-called "glass children" - siblings of children with disabilities or other forms of otherness - in the context of the Czech social support system. The aim of this thesis is to understand how, in the Czech context, characterized by a limited range of specialized services, the needs of these children are met and how the difficulties arising from their specific family situation are mitigated. The theoretical section of this study defines the concept of "glass children" and summarizes the effects of living with a child with a disability on the psychological development and social roles of their non-disabled siblings, particularly regarding phenomena such as parentification, self- censorship, and a sense of invisibility. The empirical part is based on qualitative research conducted in the form of in-depth semi-structured interviews with siblings of children with otherness. The research revealed a fundamental discrepancy between the theoretical existence of support programs and their actual availability. The findings confirm that specialized services remain inaccessible to "glass children" in the Czech Republic during adolescence, forcing them to rely on individual coping strategies and private psychotherapy.
