Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou mezigeneračního přenosu chudoby a sociálního znevýhodnění v České republice. Cílem práce je prozkoumat, do jaké míry sociální původ jedince, měřený vzděláním rodičů a finanční situací rodiny v dětství, ovlivňuje jeho dosažené vzdělání a aktuální příjmovou hladinu v dospělosti. Teoretický rámec práce vychází z konceptu forem kapitálu a habitu Pierra Bourdieuho a je doplněn o teorii lidského kapitálu Jamese Heckmana. Empirická část využívá kvantitativní analýzu sekundárních mikrodat z výběrového šetření EU-SILC (2019). Práce testuje hypotézy týkající se vzdělanostní reprodukce ("skleněného stropu") a přímého vlivu ekonomického kapitálu na budoucí status jedince. Výsledky diskuse jsou zasazeny do širšího kontextu české vzdělávací politiky a mechanismů sociální mobility. This bachelor thesis analyses the intergenerational transmission of poverty and social disadvantage in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to examine to what extent an individual's social origin, measured by parental education and the family's financial situation during childhood, affects their attained education and current income level in adulthood. The theoretical framework of the thesis is based on Pierre Bourdieu's concept of forms of capital and habitus, complemented by James Heckman's theory of human capital. The empirical part utilizes quantitative analysis of secondary microdata from the EU-SILC (2019) survey. The thesis tests hypotheses regarding educational reproduction (the "glass ceiling" effect) and the direct influence of economic capital on an individual's future status. The results are discussed within the broader context of Czech educational policy and mechanisms of social mobility.
