Downův syndrom patří mezi nejčastější genetické vady a je charakterizován svalovou hypotonií, sníženou svalovou silou a zhoršenou posturální stabilitou (Antonarakis et al. 2020). Hipoterapie je fyzioterapeutická metoda využívající rytmický pohyb koňského hřbetu v kroku k aktivní motorické a senzorické stimulaci pacienta (Kolarczyk et al. 2016). U osob s Downovým syndromem hipoterapie cílí převážně na zlepšení stability, motorických funkcí a koordinace, neboť pomáhá korigovat patologické pohybové vzorce (Costa et al. 2017). Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá krátkodobým vlivem hipoterapie založené na principech neuroproprioceptivní ,,facilitace a inhibice" na posturální stabilitu a jemnou motoriku u dětí s Downovým syndromem. Tento vliv byl zkoumán v porovnání s intervencí klasické fyzioterapie. Celkem se studie zúčastnilo 9 dětí ve věku od 3 do 15 let s jednoznačnou diagnózou Downova syndromu z řad klientů Centra hiporehabilitace Mirákl o.p.s., kteří dojíždí na intenzivní rehabilitační pobyty jednou či vícekrát do roka. Každý proband podstoupil 4 měření - před hipoterapií, po hipoterapii, před fyzioterapií a po fyzioterapie. K měření jemné motoriky byl využit Functional Dexterity Test, dynamické stability Modified Functional Reach Test a statické stability Single Leg Stance Test a Semi-Tandem Stance... Down syndrome is among the most common genetic disorders and is characterized by muscle hypotonia, reduced muscle strenght and impaired postural stability (Antonarakis et al. 2020). Hippotherapy is a physiotherapeutic intervention that utilizes the rhythmic movement of a horse's back during walking to provide active motor and sensory stimulation to the patient (Kolarczyk et al. 2016). In individuals with Down syndrome, hippotherapy primarily aims to improve stability, motor function, and coordination, as it contributes to the correction of pathological movement patterns (Costa et al. 2017). This bachelor's thesis investigates the short-term effects of hippotherapy based on the principles of neuroproprioceptive "facilitation and inhibition" on postural stability and fine motor skills in children with Down syndrome. These effects were examined in comparison with an intervention of classic physiotherapy. Atotal of nine children aged 3 to 15 years with confirmed diagnosis of Down syndrome participated in the study. The participants were recruited from clients of the Centrum hiporehabilitace Mirákl o.p.s., who attend intensive rehabilitation stays once or more per year.
