Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou dynamického vztahu mezi růstem nominálních mezd a cenovou inflací ve vybraných evropských ekonomikách. Cílem práce je prozkoumat, jakým způsobem externí hospodářské šoky, konkrétně globální finanční krize let 2008-2009 a následné post-pandemické období po roce 2021, transformovaly mechanismy mzdové tvorby a přenosu inflačních očekávání. Teoretická část vymezuje vývoj pohledu na mzdově-inflační vazbu od tradičních modelů až po současné přístupy zdůrazňující roli očekávání. Stěžejní přínos práce spočívá v metodologickém posunu od standardních lineárních ekonometrických metod k nelineární waveletové transformaci. Tento přístup umožňuje detailně identifikovat časově a frekvenčně proměnlivé vazby, které tradiční testy kauzality často přehlížejí. Výsledky analýzy potvrzují vysokou institucionální heterogenitu napříč zkoumanými zeměmi. Práce dokládá, že v období po roce 2021 došlo u většiny sledovaných ekonomik k nárůstu reaktivity mezd na cenové šoky, přičemž inflační tlaky zůstávají v systému primárním hybatelem. Analýza rovněž identifikuje rozdíly v adaptaci trhů práce, kde u vyspělých ekonomik přetrvává setrvačnost smluvního vyjednávání, zatímco v ostatních regionech vedly šoky k dočasnému narušení vazeb. Práce závěrem konstatuje, že ačkoliv v současnosti... This bachelor thesis analyzes the dynamic relationship between nominal wage growth and price inflation in selected European economies. The aim of the thesis is to examine how external economic shocks, specifically the global financial crisis of 2008-2009 and the subsequent post- pandemic period after 2021, have transformed wage formation mechanisms and the transmission of inflation expectations. The theoretical part defines the evolution of the perspective on the wage-inflation relationship, from traditional models to contemporary approaches emphasizing the role of expectations. The main contribution of the thesis lies in the methodological shift from standard linear econometric methods to non-linear wavelet transformation. This approach allows for the detailed identification of time-varying and frequency-varying relationships, which traditional causality tests often overlook. The results of the analysis confirm high institutional heterogeneity across the examined countries. The thesis demonstrates that in the period after 2021, most of the observed economies experienced an increase in wage reactivity to price shocks, with inflationary pressures remaining the primary driver in the system.
