Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám nelehkými životními tématy, jako jsou nemoc, bolest a umírání. Zajímá mě, jak tyto pojmy a celková zkušenost práce u lůžka působí na klientky v Domově svatého Karla Boromejského. Klientkami v tomto případě myslím vězeňkyně ve výkonu trestu, které v jednom křídle domova pobývají a chodí vypomáhat na oddělení Lůžek následné péče. Klientky mohou vypomáhat jako úklidová síla nebo po úspěšném absolvování sanitářského kurzu se mohou zapojit v přímé péči o pacienta, pod zdravotnickým dohledem. I am interested in how these concepts, as well as the overall experience of working at the bedside, affect the clients at the Home of Saint Charles Borromeo. By clients in this case, I mean incarcerated women serving their sentences who reside in one wing of the home and assist in the long term care ward. They may help as cleaning staff, or after successfully completing a nursing assistant course they can become involved in direct patient care under medical supervision.
