cze Abstract:
Závěr:...Title: Subjective Perception of the Environment Among Runners Objectives: The main objective is to analyze differences in runners' subjective perception of physical exertion and mental state during running in natural and urban environments. Methods: The research was designed as a quantitative comparative study conducted via an online survey. The study sample consisted of 124 active runners, with the main analysis focusing on a group of 87 respondents who regularly alternate between the two environments under study. Data were collected using the SAM visual nonverbal scale for assessing emotional valence, five-point Likert scales for perceived exertion and recovery, and bipolar scales for a direct comparison of both environments. The data were statistically analyzed using a paired t- test in Microsoft Excel. Results: The survey results confirmed statistically highly significant differences in all monitored indicators in favor of the natural environment. Running in nature elicits a significantly more positive emotional response than running in the city. The strongest difference was observed in the area of mental recovery, which is perceived as nearly twice as high in nature. Respondents in the natural environment subjectively experience a lower level of exhaustion and more frequently achieve a state...
