Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou duševního zdraví studentů veřejných vysokých škol (VŠ) v České republice v kontextu strategických dokumentů Zdraví 2030 a Národního akčního plánu pro duševní zdraví 2020-2030. Cílem práce bylo zmapovat zkušenosti studentů veřejných vysokých škol v České republice s vyhledáváním a využíváním psychologické pomoci, identifikovat bariéry bránící jejímu čerpání a zjistit preference studentů v oblasti psychologického poradenství na vysokých školách. Výzkum byl realizován prostřednictvím kvantitativního dotazníkového šetření. Výsledky poukazují na paradoxní nesoulad mezi vysokou mírou informovanosti o dostupných poradenských službách a jejich nízkou mírou využívání, a to i přesto, že významná část respondentů vykazuje známky sníženého well-beingu. Mezi hlavní identifikované bariéry patří přetrvávající společenská stigmatizace duševních onemocnění, omezená časová a finanční dostupnost péče a obavy spojené s vyhledáním odborné pomoci. Na základě získaných dat práce formuluje doporučení směřující ke zvýšení efektivity psychologického poradenství na vysokých školách. Tato doporučení se zaměřují na zpřehlednění dostupných informací, zefektivnění propagace služeb, destigmatizaci duševního zdraví a vytvoření relaxačních zón v prostorách fakult. The bachelor's thesis focuses on the issue of mental health among students of public universities in the Czech Republic in the context of the strategic frameworks Health 2030 and the National Action Plan for Mental Health 2020-2030. The aim of the thesis was to map students' experiences with seeking and utilizing psychological support, to identify barriers preventing its use, and to determine students' preferences regarding psychological counseling services at universities. The research was conducted using a quantitative questionnaire survey. The results reveal a paradoxical discrepancy between the high level of awareness of available counseling services and their low rate of utilization, despite the fact that a significant proportion of respondents show signs of reduced well-being. The main identified barriers include persistent societal stigma associated with mental health issues, limited time and financial accessibility of care, and concerns related to seeking professional help. Based on the collected data, the thesis formulates recommendations aimed at increasing the effectiveness of psychological counseling services at universities.
