Tato bakalářská práce analyzuje baťovský Zlín jako historicky specifický projekt moderního vládnutí. Teoretickým východiskem je foucaultovské pojetí moci jako analytiky technik vládnutí, zarámované konceptem subjektivace, tedy procesem, skrze nějž jsou lidské bytosti utvářeny jako subjekty. Cílem práce je ukázat, že baťovský Zlín představuje komplexní racionalitu vládnutí, která propojuje organizaci práce, prostoru a každodenního života s produkcí specifické subjektivity, konkrétně "poslušného a produktivního" dělníka-občana. Teoretická část vymezuje pojetí disciplinární moci a rozpracovává klíčové pojmy, jako jsou panoptismus, normování či trénink těla. Dále se zaměřuje na vztah mezi prostorem a mocí a ukazuje, jak mohou být architektura a urbanismus chápány jako mocenské techniky. Analytická část aplikuje foucaultovský aparát na tři oblasti baťovského systému: práci a továrnu, rodinu a rodinný život a urbanismus. V těchto rovinách sleduje, v jakých konkrétních konfiguracích se disciplinární a biopolitické mechanismy projevují. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována mechanismům vedoucím k internalizaci řízení, zejména prostřednictvím podnikových institucí, nástrojů a apelů podporujících osobní odpovědnost, výkon a "vůli růsti". Práce ukazuje, že baťovský Zlín lze chápat jako projekt moderní... This bachelor's thesis analyzes the Bata company town of Zlín as a historically specific project of modern government. Its theoretical framework is grounded in the Foucauldian conception of power as an analytics of governing techniques, framed through the concept of subjectivation, understood as the process through which human beings are constituted as subjects. The aim of the thesis is to show that Zlín cannot be reduced either to a disciplinary regime or to an economic model of industrial production, but rather represents a complex rationality of government that connects the organization of work, space, and everyday life with the production of a specific form of subjectivity, namely the "obedient and productive" worker-citizen. The theoretical part outlines the concept of disciplinary power and develops key notions such as panopticism, normalization, and the training of the body. It further examines the relationship between space and power, demonstrating how architecture and urbanism can be understood as technologies of power. The analytical part applies this Foucauldian framework to three domains of the Bata system: work and the factory, family and domestic life, and urbanism.
