cze Abstract:
První fáze,...Primary dysmenorrhea, defined as painful menstruation without the presence of demonstrable pelvic pathology, represents a widespread health problem affecting a significant portion of the female population of reproductive age. Recent research highlights a correlation between dietary patterns-specifically the intake of macro- and micronutrients-and the prevalence and/or intensity of menstrual pain. This bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis of dietary habits as a modifiable factor that could potentially influence the etiopathogenesis and course of primary dysmenorrhea. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part summarizes the physiology of the menstrual cycle and its hormonal regulation, focusing on the pathophysiology of primary dysmenorrhea with an emphasis on the role of prostaglandins, vasopressin, oxytocin, and inflammatory cytokines. It also covers prevalence, influencing factors, diagnosis, and both pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods of relief. In the context of nutritional therapy, the influence of macronutrients and micronutrients is discussed, with an emphasis on the anti-inflammatory potential of omega-3 fatty acids, the effect of the glycemic index of the diet on hormonal stability, and the significance of specific vitamins and...
