Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá komparací online streamovacích platforem Netflix a OnePlay v kontextu českého trhu. Zaměřuje se na jejich vznik, vývoj a postavení mezi českým publikem. Cílem práce je analyzovat jejich obsahovou nabídku, způsoby využívání ze strany uživatelů a identifikovat faktory, které ovlivňují volbu těchto služeb. Práce zároveň sleduje rozdíly mezi globální platformou a službou s lokálním zaměřením v českém prostředí. Teoretická část vychází z poznatků o videích na vyžádání a fungování streamovacích platforem. Dále představuje hlavní aktéry práce - Netflix a OnePlay, stručně se věnuje jejich konkurenci na českém trhu a charakteristikám publika s následným zaměřením na český kontext. Praktická část je založena na kvantitativním dotazníkovém šetření, které mapuje faktory ovlivňující preference českých uživatelů těchto platforem. Výsledky ukazují, že Netflix a OnePlay zastávají na českém trhu lehce odlišné pozice a role. Netflix je spojován především s globální nabídkou zahraničního a seriálového obsahu. OnePlay naopak posiluje svou pozici prostřednictvím lokálně relevantního obsahu, sportovních přenosů a specifických funkcí. Získaná data dále ukazují, že při výběru streamovacích platforem hrají u respondentů významnou roli obsahová nabídka, cena a možnost sdílení jednoho účtu. This bachelor's thesis examines a comparison of the online streaming platforms Netflix and OnePlay in the context of the Czech market. It focuses on their origins, development, and standing among the Czech audience. The aim of the thesis is to analyze their content offerings and how users utilize them, as well as to identify the factors that influence the choice of these services. The thesis also examines the differences between a global platform and a service with a local focus in the Czech environment. The theoretical part is based on insights into video on demand services and the functioning of streaming platforms. Then this work introduces the main actors - Netflix and OnePlay, briefly discusses their competition in the Czech market and characteristics of the audience with a subsequent focus on the Czech context. The practical part is based on a quantitative survey that maps the factors influencing the preferences of Czech users of these platforms. The results show that Netflix and Oneplay hold slightly different positions and positions in the Czech market. Netflix is primarly associated with a global selection of foreign and TV series content. OnePlay, on the other hand, is strengthening its position through locally relevant content, sports broadcasts, and specific features. The data also...
