Práce se zabývá fenoménem psychospirituální krize (PSK) v kontextu péče o duševní zdraví. Jejím hlavním těžištěm je kvalitativní výzkum osobních zkušeností pěti respondentů, analyzovaných pomocí interpretativní fenomenologické analýzy (IPA). Cílem práce bylo porozumět průběhu těchto zkušeností, způsobům jejich interpretace a potřebám respondentů v procesu jejich integrace. Výsledky ukazují, že PSK představuje komplexní proces, který nelze jednoznačně redukovat na patologický rámec. Přestože koncept PSK nelze považovat za univerzálně aplikovatelný model, nabízí cenný vhled do fenomenologie těchto stavů, který vykazuje významné shody s empirickými daty. Zároveň se ukazuje limitovanost stávajících diagnostických přístupů. Zásadním zjištěním je význam sociálního rozměru krize, zejména potřeby porozumění a podpory ze strany okolí. Psychospirituální krize tak zůstává otevřeným tématem, které může přispět k rozvoji citlivějších a komplexnějších přístupů v oblasti duševního zdraví a jako inspirace pro budoucí výzkum na toto téma. This thesis examines the phenomenon of spiritual emergency in the context of mental health care. Its main focus is a qualitative study of the personal experiences of five respondents, analysed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The aim of the thesis was to understand the course of these experiences, the ways in which they were interpreted, and the needs of the respondents in the process of their integration. The findings indicate that spritual emergency represents a complex process that cannot be unequivocally reduced to a pathological framework. Although the concept of spiritual emergency cannot be regarded as a universally applicable model, it offers valuable insight into the phenomenology of these states, showing significant correspondence with the empirical data. At the same time, the limitations of existing diagnostic approaches become apparent. A key finding is the importance of the social dimension of the crisis, particularly the need for understanding and support from others. Spiritual emergency thus remains an open topic that may contribute to the development of more sensitive and comprehensive approaches in the field of mental health care, as well as serve as inspiration for future research on this subject.
