Diplomová práce se zabývá tématem spirituality v sociální práci a pastoraci v kontextu pomáhajícího vztahu. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, jak je spiritualita popisována v odborné literatuře, jaké přínosy, výzvy a limity jsou s ní spojovány a jaké postupy jsou doporučovány pro její integraci do praxe. Výzkum byl realizován formou kvalitativní tematické analýzy šestnácti odborných recenzovaných článků publikovaných v českém prostředí v letech 2015- 2025. Analýza identifikovala hlavní tematické oblasti vztahující se k vymezení spirituality, jejímu významu pro práci s klienty, kompetencím pracovníků i doporučením pro praxi. Spiritualita je v literatuře chápána jako širší rozměr lidského života spojený se smyslem, hodnotami a životní orientací. Integrace spirituality do sociální práce naráží na nejistotu pracovníků, nedostatek metodického vedení a potřebu vymezování profesních hranic. Práce zdůrazňuje význam citlivého přístupu, sebereflexe a dalšího vzdělávání pracovníků a přináší doporučení pro bezpečnou a respektující integraci spirituality do praxe sociální práce. Nabízí tak základní přehled o současném odborném pojetí spirituality a podněty pro další výzkum i profesní rozvoj. Klíčová slova: pastorace, poradenský rozhovor, sociální práce, spiritualita 1 Abstract The diploma thesis focuses on the topic of spirituality in social work and pastoral care in the context of the helping relationship. The aim of the thesis was to examine how spirituality is described in professional literature, what benefits, challenges and limitations are associated with it, and what approaches are recommended for its integration into practice. The research was conducted through a qualitative thematic analysis of sixteen peer- reviewed academic articles published in the Czech context between 2015 and 2025. The analysis identified main thematic areas related to the definition of spirituality, its relevance for work with clients, professional competencies and recommendations for practice. In the literature, spirituality is understood as a broader dimension of human life connected with meaning, values and life orientation. The integration of spirituality into social work is associated with workers' uncertainty, a lack of methodological guidance and the need to define professional boundaries. The thesis highlights the importance of a sensitive approach, self-reflection and further education of professionals and offers recommendations for the safe and respectful integration of spirituality into social work practice.
