cze Abstract:
Konstruktivní zpětná vazba a podpora kolegů totiž pocity nedostatečnosti výrazně tlumí. Výzkum dále potvrdil, že vyšší skóre syndromu podvodníka přímo a signifikantně koreluje s úvahami novinářek o opuštění profese. Závěry práce mohou posloužit k dalšímu zkoumání tohoto tématu. This bachelor's thesis investigates impostor phenomenon amongst women working in journalism in the Czech Republic. The aim was to determine the prevalence of feelings of intellectual phoniness amongst female journalists and to identify the key factors influencing their intensity. A questionnaire survey using the standardized Clance Impostor Phenomenon Scale (CIPS) on a sample of 229 female journalists showed that this phenomenon represents a significant problem in the field - 55.5% of respondents exhibit frequent to intense manifestations. The data revealed that although the intensity of self-doubt decreases with age and professional experience, it does not disappear entirely even amongst the most experienced professionals. While educational attainment, work-related stress, and sexism do not have a statistically significant impact on the severity of the phenomenon, the quality of the work environment plays a crucial role. Constructive feedback and support from colleagues significantly mitigate feelings of inadequacy. The research further confirmed that higher impostor phenomenon scores directly and significantly correlate with female journalists' thoughts about leaving the profession. The study's conclusions can serve as a basis for further research on this topic.
