Cílem bylo zjistit míru psychické zátěže, úroveň psychické odolnosti a vztah mezi těmito proměnnými. The theoretical part defines the concepts of stress, workload, resilience, and coping, and describes factors influencing nurses' workload in the context of nursing practice. The empirical part of the thesis consists of a quantitative research study conducted using the standardized questionnaires Nurse Stress Index (NSI) and Brief Resilience Scale (BRS). The research sample consisted of nurses working in intensive care units at the University Hospital Hradec Králové. The aim was to determine the level of psychological distress, the level of resilience, and the relationship between these variables.
