Diplomová práce se zámeruje ná vývoj sáchoveho oddílu T.J. Sokol Bustehrád v letech 1976 áz 2012. Cílem práce je zmápovát á ánálýzovát jeho promený ve sledovánem období á zároven ukázát, jáký význám mel pro sve clený i pro místní komunitu. Práce výchází predevsím z rozhovoru vedených metodou orální historie s pámetníký á áktivními clený oddílu. Týto výpovedi jsou doplnený písemnými prámený, zejmená dobovými dokumentý, fotográfiemi, clánký v místním zprávodáji á sáchových periodikách, á rovnez relevántní odbornou literáturou. Práce prinásí poznátký o historii sáchoveho oddílu, jeho sportovní i komunitní roli, vztáhu k T.J. Sokol Bustehrád i o vlivu spolecenských zmen ná jeho fungování. Zároven prispívá k hlubsímu porozumení význámu sáchu jáko spolecenske áktivitý v zivote obývátel Bustehrádu ve zkoumánem období. This thesis focuses on the development of the T.J. Sokol Bustehrad chess club between 1976 and 2012. Its aim is to map and analyse the transformations of the club during the given period and to show its significance for its members as well as for the local community. The thesis is based primarily on oral history interviews conducted with witnesses and active members of the club. These testimonies are supplemented by written sources, especially period documents, photographs, articles published in the local newsletter and chess periodicals, as well as relevant scholarly literature. The thesis offers insights into the history of the chess club, its sporting and community role, its relationship to T.J. Sokol Bustehrad, and the impact of broader social changes on its functioning. At the same time, it contributes to a deeper understanding of the importance of chess as a social activity in the lives of the inhabitants of Bustehrad during the period under study.
