Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá procesem transformace ruské dronové taktiky ve válce na Ukrajině. Hlavní výzkumnou otázkou práce je, do jaké míry lze tuto transformaci označit za projev autoritativní modernizace. Práce je koncipována jako kvalitativní případová studie, která využívá literaturu zabývající se autoritativní modernizací jakožto teoretického rámce, především pak publikace politologa Vladimira Gelmana. V teoretické části je nejdříve popsána teorie autoritativní modernizace a dále popsané její tři vybrané aspekty, na kterých bude výzkumná otázka testována. V práci je představen také stav ruského dronového průmyslu před začátkem invaze, který sahá již do dob Sovětského svazu. V analytické části práce je analyzován celkový proces transformace dronové taktiky od začátku ruské invaze na Ukrajinu v únoru 2022 až po začátek roku 2026. Výzkum dokázal, že o projev autoritativní modernizace skutečně z velké části jde, jelikož potvrdil všechny tři zvolené aspekty, přestože v počátku války se průběh transformace z části zvolenému konceptu vyhýbá kvůli iniciativě ze strany ruského soukromého sektoru. V práci byly odhaleny také limity výsledků této modernizace, a to zejména v součástkách odesílaných z Číny, na kterých se Rusko stalo při výrobě dronů z velké části závislé. This thesis focuses on the process of transformation of Russian drone tactics in the war in Ukraine. The main question of the thesis is to what extent this transformation can be characterized as a manifestation of authoritarian modernization. The thesis is designed as a qualitative case study that uses literature on authoritarian modernization as its theoretical framework, particularly the work of political scientist Vladimir Gelman. In the theoretical part, the concept of authoritarian modernization is first introduced, followed by a description of three selected aspects on which the research question is tested. The thesis also outlines the state of the Russian drone industry, prior to the invasion, tracing its origins back to the Soviet era. In the analytical section, the overall process of transformation of drone tactics is examined from the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022 to early 2026. The research demonstrates that this transformation can largely be characterized as a manifestation of authoritarian modernization, as all three selected aspects were confirmed. However, in the initial phase of the war, the course of transformation partially diverged from the chosen concept due to initiatives originating from the Russian private sector.
