This study presents a custom 3D-printed polypropylene apparatus for monitoring pulsed electric field-induced temperature changes by UV-Vis-NIR spectrophotometry. Quartz cuvettes with 5 mm and 10 mm optical path lengths were fitted with tailored inserts and aluminum electrodes. Temperature variations in 0.1 M KCl were determined from changes in the water absorption band\nat 970 nm. The experimentally observed temperature increase was consistent with the theoretical estimate based on Joule heating. These results demonstrate the functionality and practical\napplicability of the proposed setup for PEF experiments and support its prospective use in biochemical and biophysical research.\n
