Abstract: Electrochemistry alone is often insufficient for a complete understanding of what happens to a molecule during oxidation or reduction. Therefore, it is often necessary to combine electrochemistry with other techniques, particularly spectroscopic ones. In this paper, I describe various spectroelectrochemical techniques and their practical application to specific experimental problems.\n
