Abstract: From a Gibbs free energy perspective, the diagrams identify the most thermodynamically stable nickel species under each condition, showing that ligand complexation reduces the activity of free Ni2+ and stabilizes nickel in solution. These results provide a thermodynamic framework for interpreting\nnickel leaching behavior and selecting suitable operating windows for hydrometallurgical recovery processes.
