KLÍČOVÁ SLOVA didaktická znalost jazyka, didaktická znalost odborného jazyka, jazyk chemie, budoucí učitelé chemie, profesní viděníThis thesis examines the role of language in the process of learning chemistry and its integration into the professional reasoning of pre-service chemistry teachers. It is based on the assumption that language constitutes an integral part of disciplinary content and serves as a key tool for understanding chemical concepts. The theoretical part elaborates the relationship between language, content, and pedagogical reasoning, with a focus on the concepts of professional vision, pedagogical content knowledge, pedagogical language knowledge, and pedagogical scientific language knowledge. Particular attention is paid to the specific features of the language of chemistry, its nature, and the cognitive demands it places on both students and teachers. The empirical part employs a combination of a questionnaire survey and an analysis of reflective worksheets. The questionnaire maps respondents' declarative beliefs about the role of language, while the reflective worksheets capture their reasoning when working with instructional material. The findings indicate that respondents attribute importance to language in chemistry education. However, its reflection in specific instructional situations remains implicit, and the proposed strategies are, with few exceptions, not explicitly aimed at supporting the...
