Tato diplomová práce se zabývá rozvojem a řízením profesionální sportovní kariéry optikou pracovně-psychologického konceptu job crafting. Teoretická část nejprve popisuje utváření sportovní identity a fyzický i osobnostní vývoj jedince v průběhu jednotlivých fází sportovní kariéry. Dále shrnuje aktuální poznatky o motivech sportovní participace, vývojových teoriích a faktorech typických pro jednotlivá kariérní období. Následně představuje koncept job craftingu, jeho historický vývoj v rámci psychologie práce, klíčová teoretická pojetí a osobnostní i situační prediktory, které jej ovlivňují. Závěrem se věnuje aplikaci konceptu craftingu v náročné profesi vrcholového sportovce. Empirická část vychází z kvalitativního výzkumného designu. Data byla sbírána prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s profesionálními sportovci z kolektivních sportů. Cílem výzkumu je za pomoci tematické analýzy identifikovat, jaké zdroje a nároky své profese účastníci reflektují a jakým způsobem aktivně utvářejí svou kariérní dráhu. Výsledky přinášejí přehled klíčových oblastí nároků a zdrojů, různých strategií řízení sportovního rozvoje a kariéry i osobnostních předpokladů ovlivňujících podobu craftingu. Klíčová slova: Job crafting; Profesionální sportovní kariéra; Nároky a zdroje; Crafting kariéry This thesis deals with the development and management of a professional sports career from the perspective of the organizational psychology concept of job crafting. The theoretical section first describes the process of sports identity and the physical and personality prerequisites necessary for successful career development. The first half of the text consists of current findings on the motives for sports participation, theories of sports development, and factors characterizing individual career stages. The second half of the theoretical section introduces the concept of job crafting, its historical development within organizational psychology, explains its core principles, and identifies the factors that influence the process. Finally, attention is given to the application of job crafting in the profession of elite athletes. The empirical part of the study is based on a qualitative research design. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews with professional athletes in team sports. The aim of the research is to use thematic analysis to identify which resources and demands of their profession the research participants reflect on and how they actively shape their careers.
