Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na analýzu cyklu Biblických písní, op. 99, Antonína Dvořáka s primárním zřetelem na problematiku interpretace cyklu v různých hlasových polohách. Cílem práce je identifikovat specifické technické a výrazové výzvy, které přináší transpozice díla pro vysoký hlas (soprán) a prozkoumat skladatelův původní záměr hlasového obsazení. V první části práce je využita metoda historicko-biografického popisu k osvětlení duchovních a osobních motivací autora v kontextu jeho amerického pobytu. Stěžejní částí práce je analýza deseti jednotlivých písní, která srovnává původní nízkou verzi s transponovanou verzí pro vysoký hlas. Práce dále využívá analýzu dobové korespondence a kritik k rekonstrukci ediční a interpretační praxe. Praktickým doplňkem teoretického zkoumání je metoda strukturovaného rozhovoru s aktivním interpretem, barytonistou Romanem Janálem, zaměřená na propojení teoretických poznatků s reálnou pěveckou praxí. This bachelor's thesis focuses on an analysis of the song cycle Biblical Songs, Op. 99 by Antonín Dvořák, with primary attention to issues related to interpreting the cycle in different vocal ranges. The aim of the thesis is to identify the specific technical and expressive challenges posed by the transposition of the work for high voice (soprano) and to explore the composer's original intention regarding vocal scoring. The first part of the thesis employs a historical-biographical method to illuminate the composer's spiritual and personal motivations in the context of his stay in America. The central part of the thesis is an analysis of the ten individual songs, comparing the original low version with the transposed version for high voice. The thesis also draws on an analysis of contemporary correspondence and criticism to reconstruct editorial and performance practice. A practical complement to the theoretical research is a structured interview with an active performer, baritone Roman Janál, aimed at connecting theoretical findings with real vocal practice.
