Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá fyzikálními vlastnostmi sněhové pokrývky a její dynamikou v prostředí lesního porostu a na otevřené ploše. Hlavním cílem bylo sledovat procesy akumulace a metamorfózy sněhu v rámci sněhových profilů v těchto odlišných typech krajinného pokryvu, konkrétně v oblasti Lysé hory v Krkonoších během zimní sezóny 2025/2026. První část práce tvoří teoretická rešerše, která mapuje cestu sněhového krystalu od jeho vzniku v atmosféře až po následné proměny po dopadu na zemský povrch ve sněhové pokrývce. Teoretický základ doplňuje rozbor interakce sněhu s okolním prostředím a zhodnocení klimatického kontextu, což vytváří rámec pro následnou praktickou část práce. V rámci terénního měření byl monitorován vývoj sněhových profilů se zaměřením na stratigrafii, tvrdost, teplotní režim uvnitř pokrývky a detailní fotodokumentaci krystalů. Pozorování potvrdila, že vegetace zásadně ovlivňuje distribuci sněhu prostřednictvím korunového zápoje a intercepce srážek, což vedlo k nižším přírůstkům sněhu pod stromy. Významným faktorem ovlivňujícím fyzikální stav pokrývky byla také energetická bilance daných stanovišť. V zalesněném prostředí byl v období se stabilními zápornými teplotami zaznamenán pokles výšky sněhu a výskyt hranatozrnitých krystalů, což lze přisuzovat vlivu působení dlouhovlnné... This bachelor's thesis examines the physical properties of snow cover and its dynamics in forested areas and open terrain. The main objective was to monitor the processes of snow accumulation and metamorphosis within snow profiles in these different types of land cover, specifically in the Lysá hora area of the Krkonoše Mountains during the 2025/2026 winter season. The first part of the thesis consists of a theoretical review that traces the path of a snow crystal from its formation in the atmosphere through to its subsequent transformations after depositing on the Earth's surface within the snowpack. This theoretical foundation is supplemented by an analysis of snow's interaction with the surrounding environment and an assessment of the climatic context, which establishes the framework for the subsequent practical part of the thesis. As part of the field measurements, the development of snow profiles was monitored, with a focus on stratigraphy, hardness, the temperature regime within the snowpack, and detailed photographic documentation of snow crystals. Observations confirmed that vegetation significantly influences snow distribution through canopy cover and precipitation interception, which led to lower snow accumulation under trees.
