eng Abstract:
[eng][cze] This bachelor's thesis reviews the diversity and conservation status of inland wetland fishes. Special attention is given to anthropogenic pressures that threaten these fish. Wetlands are characterized as dynamic ecosystems with fluctuating hydrology, variable connectivity, and extreme physicochemical conditions that form the overall fish assembly. Consequently, this thesis investigates the life-history traits and adaptations that enable wetland fishes to thrive in such unstable environments. This thesis combines a systematic literature review with a targeted analysis of the IUCN Red List database. Findings show that the wetland ichthyofauna is under consistent pressure formed by habitat loss, the introduction of invasive species, overexploitation, and water pollution. Furthermore, climate change functions as a reinforcer of these threats. In addition, many wetland species are currently listed as Data Deficient in the IUCN Red List database, which indicates the lack of information about these species and requires further research. Keywords: fish diversity, conservation biology, IUCN, biogeography, wetlands, hypoxia tolerance, anthropogenic stressorsTato bakalářská práce se zabývá diverzitou a stavem ochrany ryb vnitrozemských mokřadů a zaměřuje se na identifikaci hlavních antropogenních hrozeb, které ovlivňují tato společenstva.
