cze Abstract:
KLÍČOVÁ SLOVA rozhodčí, lední hokej, fyzické testy, brusleníThe diploma thesis examines the influence of physical fitness of ice hockey referees on their career progression and levels of competition officiating. The primary objective was to analyze the relationship between motor test performance and the practical application of referees in the field. The research group consisted of 50 referees operating at various levels of Czech ice hockey (from youth leagues to senior and national team competitions). A testing battery was utilized, including skating speed, agility, and endurance on ice, the Cooper running test off- ice, and a theoretical knowledge test. Secondary objectives focused on the respondents' history, their training habits, and their subjective perception of the impact of fitness on the quality of officiating. The results indicated that aerobic endurance and skating speed showed the highest degree of correlation with the level of competition, whereas theoretical knowledge remained relatively balanced across categories. Statistical analysis confirmed that higher levels of competition are associated with significantly better physical performance, underscoring the importance of physical preparation as an essential prerequisite for a referee's career development.
