Pohlavní rozmnožování je zásadním procesem pro přežití a evoluci většiny rostlin, i přesto je často nějakým způsobem limitováno, rostliny tedy často nedosahují svého plného potenciálu. To může mít přímé či nepřímé důsledky na populační dynamiku rostlin, stabilitu společenstev, ale i hospodářský přínos pro lidskou společnost. Příčinami limitace pohlavního rozmnožování mohou být nízká efektivita opylovačů, nedostatek zdrojů nebo postpolinační procesy. Cílem této práce je pomocí literární rešerše popsat příčiny limitace pohlavního rozmnožování rostlin způsobené opylováním. Shrnout dosavadní poznatky o limitaci pohlavního rozmnožování, vysvětlit mechanismy jak k limitaci dochází a nastínit jaké může mít důsledky na fitness rostlin. This can have direct or indirect consequences for plant population dynamics, community stability, and even economic benefits for human society. The causes of sexual reproduction limitations can include low pollinator efficiency, lack of resources, or post- pollination processes. The aim of this thesis is to use a literature review to describe the causes of limitations in plant sexual reproduction caused by pollination. It seeks to summarise current knowledge about the limitations of sexual reproduction, explain the mechanisms through which these limitations occur, and outline their potential consequences for plant fitness.
