Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou využívání strukturálních fondů Evropské unie a dotačních programů Ministerstva školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy řediteli vybraných škol. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké dotační programy ředitelé využívají, identifikovat bariéry při jejich čerpání a popsat, jaký typ podpory by přispěl k jejich efektivnějšímu využívání. Teoretická část práce je rozdělená do tří kapitol . Úvodní kapitola se zaměřuje na stručné shrnutí ekonomických pojmů, sleduje jejich provázanost na školství České republiky. Dále se pak věnuje popisu ředitele školy z pohledu požadovaných manažerských kompetencí a právní způsobilosti. Následně navazuje popis fondů Evropské unie a proces získávání dotační finanční podpory. Pro dosažení stanoveného cíle byl zvolen kvantitativní výzkumný přístup, který kombinuje sekundární analýzu dat o realizovaných projektech financovaných z fondů Evropské unie a dotazníkové šetření realizované mezi řediteli základních škol ve Středočeském kraji. Výsledky ukazují, že většina škol dotační programy aktivně využívá, přičemž dominantní roli hraje Operační program Jan Amos Komenský. This bachelor thesis deals with the use of European Union structural funds and funding programmes of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports by school principals of selected schools. The aim of the thesis is to identify which funding programmes are used by school principals, analyse the barriers they face when applying for funding, and describe what type of support would contribute to more effective use of these financial resources. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into three chapters. The introductory chapter focuses on a brief overview of basic economic concepts and their relation to the Czech education system. It is followed by a description of the role of the school principal in terms of required managerial competences and legal responsibilities. The final part of the theoretical section describes European Union funds and the process of obtaining financial support. To achieve the research objective, a quantitative research approach was chosen, combining secondary data analysis of projects funded by European Union funds and a questionnaire survey conducted among primary school principals in the Central Bohemian Region.
