Bakalářská práce je zpracována formou případové studie, jejímž zaměřením je výzkum proměny volebního chování voličů v obci Nové Veselí. Analyzuje významný pokles podpory Miloše Zemana, který je vlastníkem zdejší nemovitosti. Práce se zabývá kontextem nejen prezidentských voleb, ve kterých Miloš Zeman v roce 2013 poprvé uspěl a poté v roce 2018 mandát obhájil, ale také voleb, které emeritní prezident ovlivnil jinak než svou přímou kandidaturou. Zájem byl v tomto případě soustředěn na volby do Poslanecké sněmovny konané v letech 2013 a 2017. V souvislosti s tímto typem voleb byl intenzivněji zkoumán vývoj volební podpory subjektu SPOZ. Hlavní náplní práce je popis a analýza volební podpory Zemana na více řádovostních úrovních s důrazem na vysvětlení zmíněného poklesu v zájmové obci, který souvisí s oslabením efektu souseda. Kvantitativní výzkum byl doplněn kvalitativním výzkumem realizovaným formou rozhovorů se vzorkem obyvatel obce. Klíčová slova: efekt souseda - prezidentské volby - volební chování - případová studie - oslabení podpory - tematická analýza This bachelor's thesis takes the form of a case study focused on researching changes in voter behavior in the municipality of Nové Veselí. It analyzes the significant decline in support for Miloš Zeman, who owns property in the area. The thesis examines not only the context of the presidential elections, in which Miloš Zeman was first elected in 2013 and then re-elected in 2018, but also elections in which the former president exerted influence other than through his direct candidacy. In this case, the focus was on the elections to the Chamber of Deputies held in 2013 and 2017. In connection with this type of election, the development of electoral support for the SPOZ party was examined more intensively. The main focus of the work was to describe and analyze Zeman's electoral support across multiple levels, with an emphasis on explaining the aforementioned decline in the target community, which is linked to the weakening of the friends and neighbours effect. The quantitative research was supplemented by qualitative research conducted through interviews with a sample of the community's residents.
