Vliv enterální výživy na nutriční stav diabetiků ABSTRAKT Tato diplomová práce se věnuje problematice enterální výživy u hospitalizovaných pacientů s onemocněním diabetes mellitus. Zdůrazňuje význam enterální výživy určené pro pacienty s diabetem ve vztahu k udržení či zlepšení jejich nutričního stavu během hospitalizace. Diabetes mellitus představuje jedno z nejčastějších chronických onemocnění současnosti. Malnutrice se mezi těmito pacienty vyskytuje často, především v souvislosti s přidruženými akutními či chronickými komplikacemi. Cílem práce je objektivně zhodnotit, zda systematicky indikovaná diabetická enterální výživa vede ke zlepšení antropometrických a biochemických nutričních ukazatelů - zejména hmotnosti, BMI, obvodu paže, hladiny albuminu, prealbuminu a dalších markerů nutričního a zánětlivého stavu bez vlivu na kompenzaci cukrovky Výzkum byl realizován formou prospektivního observačního sběru dat s prvky klinické intervence, na vzorku pacientů hospitalizovaných v rámci lůžkové péče, u nichž byla enterální výživa indikována na dobu minimálně sedmi dnů. Data byla čerpána z klinické a nutriční dokumentace, laboratorních výsledků a byla doplněna strukturovaným dotazníkem subjektivní tolerance výživy. The effect of enteral nutrition on the nutritional status of diabetic patients ABSTRACT This master's thesis addresses the issues of enteral nutrition in inpatients with diabetes mellitus. It emphasizes the importance of enteral nutrition in patients with diabetes in relation to maintaining or improving their nutritional status during their hospitalization. Diabetes mellitus represents one of the most common chronic diseases today. Malnutrition affects these patients particularly in connection with associated acute and chronic complications. The aim of the thesis is to objectively evaluate whether systematically indicated enteral nutrition in patients with diabetes results in improved anthropometric and biochemical nutritional indicators: namely, weight, BMI, mid-upper arm circumference, albumin and prealbumin levels and other nutritional and inflammatory markers without affecting glycemic control. The research was conducted as a prospective observational data collection with elements of clinical intervention in a sample of inpatients with enteral nutrition indicated for a minimum of seven days. Data were obtained from clinical and nutritional records and laboratory results and supplemented with a structured questionnaire concerning subjective tolerance of nutrition.
