This thesis deals with the use of homography for verifying the identity of individuals based on 2D biometric features. It explains homography and the process of its estimation, as well as selected biometric features and selected methods for estimating homography. It then presents a system for experimenting, evaluating, and comparing selected methods across different biometric features and the tasks of verification and identification. I conducted numerous experiments, which are evaluated in the thesis, and the achieved results are compared with those of modern, specialized biometric approaches. The obtained results indicate that homography represents a possible alternative to currently used biometric identification methods.
