The current approach to fuzzy fractional graph coloring uses the fuzzy information only for the identification of weakly adjecent edges. After their removal, the fuzzy information of the graph is not taken into account during the process. The aim of this thesis is to propose a new approach to fuzzy fractional graph coloring. The new approach uses the fuzzy information throughout the entire graph coloring process and considers vertices and edges membership functions. The proposed approach is also a monotone extension of the classical fractional graph coloring. The thesis further includes an analysis of the new approach's properties and demonstrates its application to the optimization of traffic light cycles.
