Práce se zabývá reflexí současného stavu globalizované oděvní produkce a jejím dopadem na vykořisťování planetárních zdrojů, lidské práce a degradaci kvality výrobků. Autorovým záměrem je prozkoumat alternativní přístup k sériové výrobě v oděvním průmyslu a navržení koncepčního řešení produktové řady „hyperlocal“ pro již existující oděvní značku humanoddity, včetně prototypu kalhot, který by demonstroval navržené principy. Autor se v práci opírá o rozsáhlý materiálový výzkum v podobě pěstování a zpracování vlastního lnu. Tato zkušenost je zároveň součástí zastřešující snahy o popularizaci a komunikaci tématu hyperlokálnosti s veřejností pomocí textu na blogu a obsahu na sociální sítě. This thesis reflects upon the current state of globalized clothing production and its impact on the exploitation of planetary resources, human labour and the degradation of quality of goods. The author’s intention is to research an alternative approach to serial production in the fashion industry and to design a conceptual groundwork for the “hyperlocal” product line intended for the already existing clothing brand humanoddity, including a prototype pair of pants, that would demonstrate set principles. The author is basing his decisions on extensive material research in the form of growing and processing flax into linen. This is also a part of an overarching effort to popularize and communicate the topic of hyperlocalness to the public with the use of blog posts and short form video through social media.
