This thesis focuses on the design and implementation of an agile wheeled bipedal robot using commercially available actuators. The goal of this work was to design a robot concept utilizing modern actuators, develop control electronics, and verify the functionality of the proposed system. First, a robot leg prototype was designed and tested to verify the actuator properties and evaluate the overall design. The acquired findings were then used in the design of the final robot. The robot uses a cascaded PID controller for balancing and allows speed control, turning, and height adjustment through leg motion. The result of this work is a functional robot exhibiting stable balance and basic locomotion capabilities.
