Tato diplomová práce se zabývá urbanistickým návrhem nové městské čtvrti v Prostějově, situované na území brownfieldu bývalého průmyslového areálu Agrostroj. Cílem práce je transformace této dosud neprostupné lokality v širším centru města a její plnohodnotné zapojení do stávající městské struktury. Analytická část hodnotí širší i užší vztahy území, demografický vývoj a identifikuje hlavní limity, jako je bariérový efekt železnice a absence pěší prostupnosti. Návrhová část je založena na principu selektivní demolice a konverze historicky cenných industriálních objektů, které tvoří identitu místa. Koncepce doplňuje městskou tkáň o blokovou a solitérní zástavbu s polyfunkčním využitím, zahrnujícím bydlení, administrativu, retail i občanskou vybavenost v podobě nové školy. Důraz je kladen na novou uliční síť navázanou na pohledové osy, integraci cyklistické dopravy a vytvoření izolačního zeleného pásu podél železniční trati, který plní rekreační i hygienickou funkci. Práce představuje komplexní vizi, která propojuje průmyslovou paměť místa se soudobými požadavky na kvalitu veřejného prostoru a udržitelný rozvoj města. This master's thesis deals with the urban design of a new city district in Prostějov, located on the brownfield site of the former Agrostroj industrial area. The aim of the work is the transformation of this impermeable locality in the wider city center and its full integration into the existing urban structure. The analytical part evaluates the wider and closer relations of the area, demographic development, and identifies main limits, such as the barrier effect of the railway and the lack of pedestrian permeability. The design part is based on the principle of selective demolition and the conversion of historically valuable industrial buildings that form the identity of the place. The concept supplements the urban fabric with block and solitary development with multi-purpose use, including housing, administration, retail, and public amenities in the form of a new school. Emphasis is placed on a new street network connected to visual axes, the integration of bicycle transport, and the creation of an insulating green belt along the railway line, serving both recreational and hygienic functions. The thesis presents a comprehensive vision that connects the industrial memory of the place with contemporary requirements for the quality of public space and sustainable city development.
