Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na návrh nové městské zástavby ve vybraném českém městě, s ohledem na historizující povahu místa a s co nejcitlivějšími zásahy do stávající struktury sídla. Taková vize soudobé městské struktury by měla splňovat veškeré nároky dnešní doby – ekonomickou, environmentální, ale i sociální udržitelnost. Před odstraňováním nevhodných staveb se spíše dává prostor jejich úpravám a zlepšení jejich zapojení do veřejného prostoru. This diploma thesis focuses on the design of a new urban development in a selected Czech city, taking into account the historicizing nature of the place and with the most sensitive interventions into the existing structure of the settlement. Such a vision of a contemporary urban structure should meet all the demands of today - economic, environmental, but also social sustainability. Before removing unsuitable buildings, space is rather given to their modifications and improving their integration into the public space.
