Actor a systémem HashiCorp Consul poskytuje navržená architektura škálovatelnou a proti chybám odolnou řídicí vrstvu. Pro správu heterogenních clusterů systém využívá dynamické určování velikosti pracovních bloků na základě hardwarového benchmarkingu, což pomáhá zmírnit problém pomalých uzlů. Asynchronní fronta přednačítání navíc maskuje síťovou latenci a pomáhá udržovat vysoké vytížení GPU.
This thesis addresses the growing computational demands of password recovery by proposing and implementing a distributed orchestration system based on the Actor Model on the .NET platform in the C# programming language. By integrating the Hashcat engine with the Proto.Actor framework and HashiCorp Consul, the architecture provides a scalable and fault-tolerant control plane. To manage heterogeneous clusters, the system utilizes dynamic chunk sizing based on hardware benchmarking, helping to reduce the impact of slow nodes. Additionally, an asynchronous prefetch queue is implemented to mask network latency and improve GPU utilization. For large dictionary attacks, the system employs a byte-offset indexing strategy alongside HTTP Byte-Range requests to mitigate memory and bandwidth bottlenecks. Evaluated through an automated in-process simulation, the results indicate that the actor-based approach successfully recovers from node failures and maintains reliable keyspace coverage, offering a practical foundation for distributed cryptographic operations.
