Navržená architektura využívá princip Polyglot Persistence, kdy jsou provozní data ukládána v relační databázi Microsoft SQL Server a konfigurační data v dokumentové databázi MongoDB. Součástí řešení je návrh relačního i dokumentového modelu, implementace přístupové vrstvy prostřednictvím REST API, návrh migračního procesu a ověření funkčnosti na vybraných scénářích. Výsledkem práce je datová vrstva, která zlepšuje udržovatelnost systému, zjednodušuje přidávání nových typů konstrukcí a zachovává auditovatelnost i zpětnou kompatibilitu historických dat. Ověření ukázalo, že navržené řešení splňuje stanovené výkonnostní požadavky a představuje vhodný základ pro další rozvoj systému.
This thesis deals with the design of a new data architecture for a system for the automation of steel structure modeling. The starting point is the analysis of the existing data layer, in which shortcomings were identified, particularly related to a heterogeneous relational schema, the absence of referential integrity, the presence of unused structures and the fragmentation of configuration data outside the database storage. The aim of the thesis is to design a solution that separates highly mutable operational data from less frequently changing catalog and configuration data. The proposed architecture uses the principle of Polyglot Persistence, where operational data are stored in the relational database Microsoft SQL Server and configuration data are stored in the document database MongoDB. The solution includes the design of a relational and a document data model, the implementation of an access layer through a REST API, the design of a migration process and verification of functionality on selected scenarios. The result of the thesis is a data layer that improves the maintainability of the system, simplifies the addition of new types of structures and preserves the auditability and backward compatibility of historical data. The verification showed that the proposed solution meets the defined performance requirements and represents a suitable foundation for further development of the system.
