Diplomová práca sa zaoberá hodnotením finančného zdravia a strategickej pozície spoločnosti FERMAT CZ s.r.o., ktorá pôsobí na medzinárodnom trhu v oblasti výroby obrábacích strojov. Analyzovaným obdobím je päť rokov od roku 2020 do roku 2024. Práca je rozdelená na tri kapitoly: teoretickú, analytickú a návrhovú. Teoretická časť objasňuje základné pojmy, metódy a nástroje strategickej a finančnej analýzy. Analytická časť obsahuje rozbor vonkajšieho okolia podniku, ako aj jeho interného prostredia a následne hodnotí finančnú situáciu spoločnosti prostredníctvom vybraných ukazovateľov. V návrhovej časti je ako návrh vypracovaný plán expanzie na mexický trh. The thesis examines the financial health and strategic position of FERMAT CZ s.r.o., a company operating in the international market for the manufacture of machine tools. The analyzed period spans five years, from 2020 to 2024. The thesis is divided into three chapters: theoretical, analytical, and proposal. The theoretical section clarifies the basic concepts, methods, and tools of strategic and financial analysis. The analytical section contains an analysis of the company’s external environment as well as its internal environment and subsequently evaluates the company’s financial situation using selected indicators. The proposal section presents a plan for expansion into the Mexican market.
