Tato bakalářská práce mapuje cestu podniku od prvotního rozhodnutí o IPO až po zahájení obchodování. V teoretické části jsou definovány principy, fáze, výhody a nevýhody veřejné nabídky. Praktická část srovnává emise na trzích Prime, Standard a START. Sleduje se zejména finanční kondice před vstupem, průběh úpisu a následný vývoj kurzu. Závěrem jsou formulována strategická doporučení pro volbu optimálního tržního segmentu dle potřeb emitenta a ověření, zda transformace na veřejně obchodovatelnou společnost naplnila očekávání firem i investorů. This bachelor thesis maps a company's journey from the initial decision to go public to the commencement of trading. The theoretical part defines the principles, phases, advantages, and disadvantages of an initial public offering. The practical part compares share issues on the Prime, Standard, and START markets. It specifically focuses on the financial health of companies prior to their entry, the subscription process, and the subsequent development of the stock price. Finally, strategic recommendations are formulated for choosing the optimal market segment based on the issuer's needs, along with an evaluation of whether the transformation into a publicly traded company met the expectations of both the firms and the investors.
