Zájem o vývoj aktuální situace na Blízkém východě, tj. konflikt mezi Íránem na jedné straně, a USA a Izraelem na straně druhé, projevily téměř dvě třetiny české veřejnosti (64 %), více než třetinu (36 %) pak tento konflikt nezajímá. Nadpoloviční většina české veřejnosti soudí, že útok na Írán, který USA a Izrael společně provedly 28. února 2026, nebyl ani oprávněný, ani přiměřený. Konkrétně o neoprávněnosti je přesvědčeno 59 % českých občanů, shodně 59 % se domnívá, že nebyl přiměřený. Nearly two-thirds of the Czech public (64%) expressed interest in developments in the current situation in the Middle East, i.e., the conflict between Iran on one side and the U.S. and Israel on the other, more than one-third (36%) are not interested in this conflict. A majority of the Czech public believes that the attack on Iran, carried out jointly by the US and Israel on February 28, 2026, was neither justified nor proportionate. Specifically, 59% of Czech citizens are convinced it was unjustified, and an identical 59% believe it was not proportionate.
