Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou malnutrice u seniorů a zaměřuje se na pohled všeobecných sester pracujících v nemocničním prostředí a v domovech pro seniory. Cílem práce bylo zmapovat informovanost všeobecných sester o této problematice, porovnat jejich přístup k péči o seniory s malnutricí a identifikoval rozdíly v organizaci péče a vnímané bariéry. Empirická část práce byla realizována formou kvalitativního výzkumu pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Výzkumný soubor tvořilo 12 všeobecných sester pracujících v nemocnicích a v domovech pro seniory. Získaná data byla analyzována pomocí otevřeného kódování. Výsledky ukázaly, že malnutrice u seniorů je sestrami vnímána jako závažný a častý problém. Důraz je kladen především na nutriční screening, sledování příjmu stravy a mezioborovou spolupráci. Byly identifikovány bariéry ovlivňující kvalitu péče, zejména nedostatek času, personálu a administrativní zátěž. Mezi jednotlivými typy zařízení nebyly zjištěny zásadní rozdíly v přístupu sester, rozdíly se objevovaly spíše v organizaci péče. Práce poukazuje na význam systematického přístupu k nutriční péči a důležitou roli všeobecné sestry v prevenci, včasném rozpoznání a řešení malnutrice u seniorů. This bachelor's thesis addresses the issue of malnutrition among the elderly and focuses on the perspectives of general nurses working in hospital settings and nursing homes. The aim of the thesis was to assess general nurses' awareness of this issue, compare their approaches to caring for malnourished elderly patients, and identify differences in the organization of care and perceived barriers. The empirical part of the thesis was conducted as qualitative research using semi-structured interviews. The research sample consisted of 12 general nurses working in hospitals and nursing homes. The collected data were analyzed using open coding. The results showed that malnutrition among the elderly is perceived by nurses as a serious and common problem. Emphasis is placed primarily on nutritional screening, monitoring dietary intake, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Barriers affecting the quality of care were identified, particularly a lack of time, staff, and administrative burden. No significant differences in nurses' approaches were found between different types of facilities; differences were more evident in the organization of care. The study highlights the importance of a systematic approach to nutritional care and the vital role of general nurses in the prevention, early detection, and management of malnutrition in older adults.
