Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice správné identifikace pacienta sestrou ve zdravotnickém zařízení. Prvním cílem bylo zjistit, zda a jakým způsobem sestry dodržují správný postup identifikace pacienta ve zdravotnickém zařízení. Druhým cílem bylo identifikovat rizika možné záměny a možnosti jejího předcházení sestrou u pacienta ve zdravotnickém zařízení. Posledním cílem bylo zjistit, jak vnímají pacienti jejich identifikaci sestrami ve zdravotnickém zařízení. Druhou část této práce tvoří výzkumná část, která byla zpracována pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu. Byla použita metoda polostrukturovaného rozhovoru, otevřené kódování a technika tužka a papír. Rozhovory byly provedeny na chirurgickém a kardiologickém oddělení vždy se třemi sestrami a třemi pacienty. Bylo vytvořeno čtrnáct otázek pro sestry a pro pacienty. Z výsledků výzkumné části se ukázalo, že odpovědi sester se ne vždy shodují s odpověďmi pacientů. Sestry uváděly identifikaci jako např. rodné číslo nebo kontrolu náramku, kterou pacienti většinou neuváděli. Z toho vyplývá, že sestry nedodržují vždy identifikaci tak, jak je stanoveno a jak uváděly ve výpovědích. Sestry jsou však povětšinou informovány o tom, jak by identifikace měla správně probíhat, a o rizicích, která by mohla nastat během záměny pacienta. Z výpovědí pacientů se ukázalo, že pacienti nejsou informovaní o identifikaci tak, jak by měli, ale sestrám důvěřují a většinou jim identifikace připadá dostatečná. Výsledky mohou sloužit ke zlepšení a zdůraznění důležitosti dodržování identifikace pacienta ve zdravotnickém zařízení. Dále mohou sloužit pacientům jako informace, které jim poslouží během hospitalizace. Výsledky poukazují na to, že by bylo dobré sestry více edukovat o důležitosti dodržování správné identifikace pacienta. This bachelor's thesis addresses the issue of proper patient identification by nurses in healthcare facilities. The first objective was to determine whether and how nurses adhere to the proper patient identification procedure in healthcare facilities. The second objective was to identify the risks of potential mix-ups and ways for nurses to prevent them in healthcare facilities. The final objective was to determine how patients perceive their identification by nurses in healthcare facilities. The second part of this thesis consists of the research section, which was conducted using qualitative research methods. The methods employed included semi-structured interviews, open coding, and the pen-and-paper technique. The interviews were conducted in the surgical and cardiology departments, always with three nurses and three patients. Fourteen questions were developed for the nurses and for the patients. Identification as prescribed and as described in their statements. However, nurses are generally informed about how identification should be properly conducted and about the risks that could arise during patient mix-ups. The patients' statements revealed that patients are not informed about identification as they should be, but they trust the nurses and generally find the identification process sufficient. The results can be used to improve and emphasize the importance of adhering to patient identification protocols in healthcare facilities. Furthermore, they can serve as information for patients to use during their hospitalization. The results indicate that it would be beneficial to educate nurses more thoroughly on the importance of adhering to proper patient identification.
