Duševní zdraví dětí a dospívajících představuje významnou oblast veřejného zdraví, která je v současnosti spojována s nárůstem psychických obtíží u mladé populace. Tyto obtíže ovlivňují každodenní fungování dětí, jejich vztahy i školní úspěšnost a poukazují na potřebu dostupné a včasné podpory. V odborné diskusi se objevují rozdílné pohledy na roli jednotlivých profesí, přičemž práce s duševním zdravím dětí je často spojována především se zdravotnictvím a psychologií. Cílem bakalářské práce je přiblížit problematiku duševního zdraví dětí a dospívajících a poukázat na možnosti jeho podpory prostřednictvím terénní sociální práce. Práce současně reflektuje význam podpory v přirozeném prostředí, která může přispívat k prevenci rozvoje závažnějších obtíží. Teoretická část vymezuje základní pojmy, představuje aktuální situaci v České republice a popisuje rizikové faktory a možnosti prevence. Dále se zaměřuje na organizaci FOKUS Vysočina a principy terénní sociální práce a sociální rehabilitace. Empirická část je realizována formou kvalitativního výzkumu, přičemž data byla získána prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s pracovníky Terénního týmu pro děti organizace FOKUS Vysočina. Získaná data byla analyzována pomocí kvalitativní obsahové analýzy s využitím otevřeného kódování. Výsledky ukazují, že terénní sociální práce může představovat významný nástroj podpory duševního zdraví dětí, zejména díky své dostupnosti, individuálnímu přístupu a práci v přirozeném prostředí. Zdůrazněn je také význam spolupráce s rodinou a dalšími aktéry, což přispívá k lepšímu porozumění role sociální práce v oblasti podpory duševního zdraví dětí. The mental health of children and adolescents represents an important area of public health, currently associated with an increase in psychological difficulties among the young population. These difficulties affect children's everyday functioning, their relationships, and their academic performance, highlighting the need for accessible and timely support. At the same time, professional discourse reflects differing views on the roles of individual professions, as work with children's mental health is often primarily associated with healthcare and psychology. The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to present the issue of mental health in children and adolescents and to highlight possibilities for its support through outreach social work. The thesis also reflects the importance of support provided in a child's natural environment, which can contribute to preventing the development of more serious difficulties. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts related to mental health, presents the current situation in the Czech Republic, and describes risk factors and prevention options. It then focuses on the organization FOKUS Vysočina and further outlines the principles of outreach social work and social rehabilitation. The empirical part is conducted in the form of qualitative research. Materials were collected through semi-structured interviews with members of the field team for children from the organization FOKUS Vysočina. These were subsequently analyzed using qualitative content analysis, applying an open coding approach. The results indicate that outreach social work can represent an important tool for supporting children's mental health, particularly due to its accessibility, individualized approach, and the ability to work with children in their natural environment. The importance of cooperation with families and other actors, such as schools and professional services, is also emphasized, which contributes to a better understanding of the role of social work in this field.
