Bakalářská práce analyzuje úroveň prevence rizik v perioperační péči se zaměřením na infekční rizika z pohledu všeobecných sester. Cílem práce bylo zhodnotit odborné znalosti sester, jejich postoje k bezpečnostním standardům a identifikovat bariéry, které ovlivňují realizaci preventivních opatření v každodenní praxi. Teoretická část vymezuje jednotlivé fáze perioperačního období a klasifikuje rizika z hlediska klinického, organizačního a technického. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována prevenci infekcí. Empirická část vychází z kvantitativního šetření realizovaného u 68 všeobecných sester z chirurgických pracovišť Nemocnice České Budějovice, a. s. Výsledky poukazují na vysokou míru profesní odpovědnosti sester a jejich snahu dodržovat stanovené standardy i v podmínkách personálního nedostatku a časové zátěže. Analýza prokázala, že vysoká úroveň znalostí není automaticky spojena s důslednějším dodržováním preventivních opatření, což naznačuje vliv rutiny a zažitých pracovních návyků. Naopak byl potvrzen pozitivní vliv odborného vzdělávání na vnímání a uplatňování protokolů v praxi. V oblasti dokumentace byl identifikován rozdíl mezi reálným sledováním rizik a jejich formálním zaznamenáváním. Přínos práce spočívá v identifikaci situace, kdy sestry kompenzují systémové nedostatky zvýšeným osobním nasazením v zájmu bezpečnosti pacienta. V závěru jsou formulována doporučení pro klinickou praxi, zejména v oblasti digitalizace dokumentace, zavedení simulační výuky a podpory otevřené kultury bezpečnosti, která by umožnila efektivnější hlášení a analýzu nežádoucích událostí. This bachelor's thesis analyzes the level of risk prevention in perioperative care, focusing on infection risks from the perspective of registered nurses. The aim of the thesis was to assess the nurses' professional knowledge and their attitudes toward safety standards, and to identify barriers that affect the implementation of preventive measures in daily practice. The theoretical section defines the individual phases of the perioperative period and classifies risks from clinical, organizational, and technical perspectives. Special attention is given to infection prevention. The empirical section is based on a quantitative survey conducted among 68 general nurses from the surgical departments of Nemocnice České Budějovice, a. s. The results point to a high level of professional responsibility among nurses and their efforts to adhere to established standards even under conditions of staff shortages and time constraints. The analysis showed that a high level of knowledge is not automatically linked to stricter adherence to preventive measures, suggesting the influence of routine and ingrained work habits. Conversely, the positive impact of professional training on the perception and practical application of protocols was confirmed. In the area of documentation, a discrepancy was identified between the actual monitoring of risks and their formal recording.The contribution of this study lies in identifying situations in which nurses compensate for systemic shortcomings through increased personal effort in the interest of patient safety. The conclusion includes recommendations for clinical practice, particularly regarding the digitization of documentation, the introduction of simulation-based training, and the promotion of an open safety culture that would enable more effective reporting and analysis of adverse events.
