Cílem této bakalářské práce je představit a na konkrétních příkladech ukázat, jak se v evropském kontextu v průběhu let měnilo výtvarné vyjádření vody ať už jako přírodního fenoménu, prostředku navození pocitů, pohybu či symbolického významu. Pozornost je věnována období od dob romantismu po současnost. Toto téma je dále provázáno s uměleckou tvorbou českých autorů, kteří ilustrovali pověsti, a to z toho důvodu, že cílem praktické části je vytvořit a popsat proces tvorby prostorové autorské knihy (tzv. carousel book). Ta je inspirována právě tématem pověstí vztahujících se k řece Metuji. Představeni jsou i vybraní umělci věnující se tomuto typu knih. Popis procesu tvorby zahrnuje jednak samotný postup výtvarné tvorby, jednak autorčin myšlenkový proces. Popis je dále doplněn o autorské ilustrace. Jedná se o soubor autorčiných skic, nápadů a fotodokumentace výsledného díla. V něm je pozornost zaměřena na zpracování čtyř pověstí, které jsou v práci také stručně představeny. Jejich výtvarné ztvárnění vychází jak z teoretické části, tak ze snahy autorky zacílit na dětské i dospělé publikum. Práce je zakončena dvojicí možných výukových aktivit, které vycházejí z poznatků získaných v teoretické časti. V rámci plánované výuky jsou žákům představena konkrétní díla, která mají vést k inspiraci a zamyšlení se... The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to present and demonstrate, using specific examples, how the artistic representation of water has changed over the years in europian context-whether as a natural phenomenon, a means of evoking emotions or movement, or a symbol. The focus is on the period from the Romantic era to the present. This theme is further linked to the artistic work of Czech authors who illustrated legends, as the goal of the practical component is to create and describe the process of creating a three-dimensional artist's book (a so-called carousel book). This book is inspired by legends related to the Metuje river. Selected artists working in this genre are also introduced. The description of the creative process covers both the artistic process itself and the author's thought process. The description is further supplemented by the author's illustrations. This consists of a collection of the author's sketches, ideas, and photographic documentation of the final work. The focus is on the treatment of four legends, which are also briefly introduced in the thesis. Their artistic interpretation is based both on the theoretical section and on the author's effort to appeal to both children and adults.
