cze Abstract:
Odpovědi žáků byly vyhodnoceny a zpracovány formou grafů. This thesis examines essential oils and their use in the practical identification of selected conifer species. These selected species are Norway spruce (Picea abies), Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris), silver fir (Abies alba), and European larch (Larix decidua). The aim of the thesis was to design and test in practice a teaching unit focused on the olfactory identification of selected conifer species. The study involved one 7th -grade class and two 9th -grade classes of elementary school, and one 10th -grade class of high school. Before the teaching unit was implemented, students completed a pretest; after the teaching unit, they were given a posttest identical to the pretest, as well as several questions for reflection on the activity. The students' answers were evaluated and presented in the form of graphs. After the teaching unit was implemented in practice, students selected different answers to some questions and also provided more examples in the open-ended questions. Therefore, the results show that the lesson helped students acquire new information. The assumption was that students would be able to distinguish selected conifer species from one another using their sense of smell. This assumption was confirmed; more than 75% of the students correctly identified 3 or 4 samples out of a total of 4....
