Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na vzdělávání romských seniorek žijících ve vyloučených lokalitách. Cílem práce je porozumět motivacím romských seniorek ke vzdělávání, identifikovat hlavní překážky, které jim brání v účasti na vzdělávacích aktivitách, a popsat jejich zkušenosti s dostupnými vzdělávacími příležitostmi a očekávání od nich. Teoretická část práce se věnuje vymezení pojmu senior a specifikům vzdělávání ve vyšším věku, včetně přístupů gerontagogiky. Dále se zaměřuje na problematiku sociálně vyloučených lokalit a charakteristiku romské komunity, přičemž reflektuje specifické sociální, kulturní a vzdělávací podmínky této skupiny. Praktická část je založena na kvalitativním výzkumu realizovaném prostřednictvím polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s romskými seniorkami. Získaná data byla analyzována pomocí tematické analýzy. Výsledky výzkumu ukazují, že participantky vnímají vzdělávání obecně pozitivně, zejména z hlediska udržení mentální aktivity a smysluplného trávení volného času. Jejich vlastní motivace k účasti na vzdělávacích aktivitách je však omezená a ovlivněná řadou bariér, mezi které patří především zdravotní stav, nedostatek času, psychologické překážky a nízká informovanost o dostupných vzdělávacích aktivitách. Významným zjištěním je také skutečnost, že participantky často přikládají... This diploma thesis focuses on the education of Roma senior women living in socially excluded localities. The aim of the thesis is to understand the motivations of Roma senior women to participate in education, to identify the main barriers that prevent them from engaging in educational activities, and to describe their experiences with available educational opportunities and their expectations of them. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of seniors and addresses the specifics of education in later life, including approaches of gerontagogy. It also focuses on the issue of socially excluded localities and the characteristics of the Roma community, reflecting the specific social, cultural, and educational conditions of this group. The practical part is based on qualitative research conducted through semi-structured interviews with Roma senior women. The collected data were analysed using thematic analysis. The results show that the participants generally perceive education positively, particularly in terms of maintaining mental activity and spending their free time meaningfully.
