Tato diplomová práce se zabývá znalostmi žáků 7. třídy druhého stupně vybrané základní školy o alkoholu a nikotinu a jejich vlivu na fyziologické procesy v těle člověka. Hlavním cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda má preventivní intervence zaměřená na účinky alkoholu a nikotinu na lidské tělo vliv na znalosti žáků 7. tříd druhého stupně základní školy. Teoretická část diplomové práce je zaměřena na problematiku alkoholu a nikotinu, jejich účinky na lidský organismus a podobu prevence užívání těchto látek v prostředí českých základních škol. Výzkumná část práce se věnuje použitým metodám, popisu výzkumného souboru, návrhu a realizaci preventivní intervence a interpretaci dat. Výzkum byl realizován pomocí dotazníkového šetření, které proběhlo ve třech po sobě jdoucích kolech. První kolo dotazníkového šetření sloužilo jako test vstupních znalostí a respondenti při něm dosahovali průměrně 65,67 %. Druhé kolo sběru dat proběhlo bezprostředně po preventivní intervenci a probandi při něm dosahovali průměrně 78,45 %. Při třetím kole sběru dat, které proběhlo s tříměsíčním odstupem od samotné preventivní intervence dosahovali respondenti průměrně 72,44 %. Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly, že preventivní intervence měla pozitivní vliv na znalosti žáků zejména v krátkodobém časovém horizontu. S časovým odstupem došlo k... This master's thesis focuses on the knowledge of seventh-grade lower secondary school students at a selected primary school regarding alcohol and nicotine and their effects on physiological processes in the human body. The main aim of the thesis was to determine whether a preventive intervention focused on the effects of alcohol and nicotine on the human body influences the level of knowledge of lower secondary school students. The theoretical part of the thesis addresses issues related to alcohol and nicotine, their effects on the human organism, and the forms of prevention of substance use in Czech primary schools. The research part of the thesis focuses on the applied research methods, the description of the research sample, the design and implementation of the preventive intervention, and the interpretation of the collected data. The research was conducted using a questionnaire survey administered in three consecutive rounds. The first round served to assess the students' baseline level of knowledge, with respondents achieving an average success rate of 65,67 %.
