V prostředí Systema Thermica byl vytvořen aktualizovaný geometrický a tepelný matematický model družice, zahrnující materiálové vlastnosti, termo-optické vlastnosti, vodivé vazby a vnitřní disipace.
This thesis deals with the thermal control analysis of the CIMER 3U CubeSat mission carrying a biological payload with cyanobacteria samples. The work describes the space thermal environment in Low Earth Orbit and the numerical modelling approach used for small spacecraft thermal analysis. An updated geometrical and thermal mathematical model of the satellite was created in Systema Thermica, including material properties, thermo-optical properties, conductive couplings and internal dissipations. Hot and cold boundary cases were analyzed together with selected sensitivity studies focused on spacecraft attitude, surface properties and orbital parameters. The results show that active heating is required to maintain the biological payload and batteries within their required temperature ranges, while overheating is not expected to be a critical issue for the analyzed configuration.
